Hello experts,

It is possible to make a "change case type" from outpatient to inpatient case via bapi???

(make an admission)

I found the bapi: BAPI_PATCASE_ADDINPATADMISS

but i get the error "the case already exists" when I want to change the case type...

any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks for your help..

Hi,

unfortunately, SAP does not offer a BAPI to do a change of case. With EHP4 it will be possible to carry out that functionality with one of the services we offer.

The documentation contains a paragraph Scenarios which explains in more detail how to use this service for a case type switch.
