Archiving solution

Hi all, we need to implement an archiving solution for one of our customers, do you know wher ewe can find more information about it, because I search in SAP's help and there is nomuch information.

What experience do you have?

A good place to search for partner solutions is the [SAP Ecosystem & Partner Catalog|http://sspcatalog.sap.com/catalog/index.jsp]. Try the advanced search, here you can specify "Archiving" under "Solutions or Platform".

Thanks Claudius, but you are telling me that there is no SAP solutioin for this archiving? we must use a third party solution?

Sorry, that might be a misunderstanding. SAP offers an interface (SAP ArchiveLink) which can be used by partner products and also directly sells two [solution extensions|http://www1.sap.com/solutions/solutionextensions/index.epx]: SAP Document Access by Open Text, and SAP Archiving by Open Text. See http://www1.sap.com/solutions/solutionextensions/docaccessarchiving/index.epx.

And of course, the SAP applications itself provide the necessary business functions for archiving.
