Dear SAP Gurus !

What is the appropriate solution to handle capacity of machine and mold resources in plastic industrial ?

In Plastic industrial , the number of machine and mold is big and the combination of them is complex.

Hello,

can you tell us a little bit more? What is the planning process you are looking at? Short-term shop floor scheduling or mid-term capacity planning?

Hi,

You could use Mold machine combination capacity matrix to planning process likewise mold- X, Machine-Y provides output of 200 pcs in 8 Hrs., then you can calculate for 24 hrs capacity. This way you can put your matrix of Mold machine combination.

Apart from it, for mold change over time, you can map it as a set-up time(m/c), rest of cycle would be processing time (curing of product in Mold), tear down (mold opening time).
