I'm trying to setup Product Compliance/Dangerous Goods but are stucked when updating Specify Description of Dangerous Goods Packages. Our System are missing the SAP predelivered content and I don't know what to update here. In the best of worlds I would be able to fetch from 000 client but this is not possible. Is there anywere I can find this content.

Hello Jonas

Try reading this blog, it may help you: Streamlining Dangerous Goods Compliance with SAP S... - SAP Community

I've implemented PMCC and have not yet started with DG, but nevertheless my client's system has the delivered content.

I have to ask, but did you activate the regulatory content (First Step After Configuration: Activate Regulatory Content | SAP Help Portal)? Or is this the content that is missing (if this is the case you may have to contact SAP regarding this)? - Please excuse me my question and ignore it if you find it inappropriate.

Regards,

Paulo Pinto

Hi Paolo,

The Regulatory content is activated and working fine. In the classic Dangerous Goods setup there are similar information, and I would probably be able to copy some of the information but the tables don't have a 1-1 match. I need the SAP predefined config to understand how it should be setup.

@Paulo_Pinto Thank you for your ideas. @JonasEd Thank you for the question, I am not 100% sure that this will help you. But based on your response, I would point you to the SAP Note 2972572. I will also consult my manager and see if she has more to add because I am not familiar with anything from the "classic setup"

Thanks Michael,

For the moment there seem to be some issue reading SAP notes but I’ll check later.

As an expert on new version maybe you can help me here.

In Product Compliance/Dangerous Goods/ Description of Dangerous Goods Packages we have the first three table entries: Package Description ID, Package Code, Complete Description.

In Product Safety/Dangerous Goods Management/BasicData/CommonSetting/Specify Packaging Codes we have three first table entries: DG Regulation, Packaging Code, Desc. For Pack.Code

The package codes I guess could be copied and also the descriptions, but what information should be entered in Package Description ID
