Different Shelf Life for the same material purchased from two suppliers

I have the following situation.

The same material is purchased from two different vendors and has different Shelf Life. How to deal with this issue? In the info record there is no Shelf Life field ... thanks

Hi - would also like to follow up on this? We are facing the same problem - as far as I'm aware, SAP does not allow different shelf-life values to be maintained for the same material number (even via info records).

Is there any other solution to manage this without getting into user exits and custom Z-tables?

Create two different materials with different shelf life and have prodcution version or alternate BOM to resolve other issues like GI and Goods Receipt. Or have followup material.
