Swift MT199,299,999 processing in SAP Payment Engine

I have the following questions about the processing of Swift MT 199/299/999 in SAP Payment Engine. These message types are exchange of 'textual 'information between organizations and my questions are focused around the processing of these messages in the Input and Output Manager of SAP Payment Engine.

1. How can the user be informed about the arrival of a Swift message of above message types in the system? How can an alert be triggered?

2. Can some information (like a PO number or any other detail) be attached to a Swift message?

3. How do we create an outgoing MT 9** in the system and how do we enter the desired texts in it? Does Output Manager handle file conversion and layout?

Hello Vikram,

Swift Messages Types n99 are currently not in the scope of SAP Payment Engine,

but these are Messages which are on our roadmap to be developed soon. We are working on these messages types and plan to deliver them within one of the next releases.

Hi Nadine

Thanks for the update. Is there any link available where we can see some detailed information on SWIFT message processing by SAP PE?

Vikram

Hello Vikram,

you can find all available information in the help.sap.com - due to the fact that PE is doing the processing based on a meta format we are not message type dependent! The swift message is converted within the Input Konverter into the SAP PE Metaformat.

If you need further Information just send me a short email nadine.volz@sap.com with the question and the project you are working in...

thanks

regards
