I need some help concerning the calculation of accruals/deferrals in CML.

In SAP-online documentation there are announced 2 different methods of accrual calculation in SAP-CML:

      • Linear is used for discount/premium accrual/deferral, accrual/deferral for processing charge and for other accruals/deferrals.

Proportionate to interest is used for discount/premium accrual/deferral, accrual/deferral for processing charge from consumer loans.

What means the method Proportionate to interest: Does this imply a calculation of deferrals proportional to the nominal interest, or rather to the effective interest?

Hello,

FNRA does not support accrual according to eff. interest rate.

So it's nominal.

Kind regards,

Michael

Hello Michael, thanks for your fast return, so do you know a remedy, the customer asks for effective interest-proportionate accruals...Don't tell me I have to develop it!

Hi,

there is a "small" solution available with note 1536151.

Full solution is only available if you transfer CML data to CFM.

Kind regards,

Michael

Hi Michael,

even the small solution sounds lengthy. But nevermind, perhaps it is worthwhile to implement it. Thanks a lot for your assistance.

Best regards, Sebastian
