Warranty-Cancellation button

Hi All

I had created a warranty claim in the Warranty tab of order engine in DBM...

Now the claim is generated, but i am unable to cancel it even after clicking the cancel button

Not getting any error also..

.

How to cancel the claim ?

Cancel claim action is also defined in the spro...

Hi Ashutosh,

I cannot tell you why it is not working like the expected way, but there is a workaround that I can tell you. If you need to know the reason why it is not happening, take help of an ABAPer and set a break point at the cancellation BADI and see if that is getting triggered or not. IF it is getting triggered, see if the BADI is performing all the steps that it is supposed to, else you would have to raise an OSS message to get a copi of the standard badi if that is not existing.

As a workaround, Go to the claim and cancel the claim there and that will have a retro effect in DBM order also.

Hi

I checked, claim will be closed once it is canceled..

But it can't be removed from the system once it is created...

Any idea how the claim is removed from the order or syste after it is cancelled....

Reason: User creates the claim by mistake and want to now cancel it.
