VMS action programe required for configuration setting of action QRPU,QTIP,

HI experts,

SAP BEST PRACTICE FOR USED CARS REPURCHASE ( BP number- AEO_BPP_EN_DE.doc page number 31) suggest to use the vehicle actions QRPU as interlinking action of QTIP,QIOG,QORD in VMS action matrix.

We have found these actions were not present in standard VMS action matrix hence we have added them in action as well as in action control matrix.

action control matrix we have maintained as primary matrix as

Old status Primary action NEw status

QP40 QRPU QP30

Qp40 QTIP Qp25

Qp25 QIOG Qp26

Qp26 QORD Qp30

by this setting we are able to get a VMS action in vehicel master by is not executable.

We found that action progmme and screen is missing for belo three actions in "action techinical details "

QRPU , QIOG , QTIP

Please help us with action programme and screen number for this actions.

Hi,

are you implementing VMS or DBM? The actions you described are DBM actions and therefore not usable in VMS. In VMS a used-vehicle scenario is also support . For more details please see the VMS documentation by following the link below:

thanks for suggestion, but its not VMS . VMS actions are used in DBM . I think so if i am not wrong that control of VMS actions is maintined in seprate action contril matrix under customising VMS> control data.

I was refering to that anyways my problem is solved by different customizing in VMS.

the problem you describe here seems to be a bit similar to the one you mentioned in a previous post I replied to ...

Is it possible that the solution to that problem solves this one as well? I'd be surprised if the vehicle action customizing wasn't part of SAP standard delivery customizing. Please check your customizing using the description in note 1034920. Maybe the settings are just missing in the client you work in but not in client 000.

If the delivery customizing is really missing, then you should probably create a problem message.

Dear Steefen,

I respect your message and saw your SAP note also , we did exactly the same thing first we have compapared current client actions with SAP 0 client. As these actinos were missing there also we asked here in SDN.

I purposely dont want to raise the SUPPORT MESSEGE TO SAP.

And what i was asked is the config step ( name of ACTION PROGRMME - Path was SPRO- Logistic exe - VMS- ENHANCEMENTS - define techinical details for action.
