Two step stock transfer

Hi,

I find that any vehicle stock transfer between Plants (say Dealer branches) is a single step process. Can this not be made as a two step transfer so that stock in transit is known and the receiving plant can also acknowledge Vehicle receipt through a goods movement ?

You can achieve this by creating two actions for this. Use criteria technique to control the visibility of these actions.

Hi,

You may use the standard action CPGM and STOL for 'plant transfer' and 'receiving at receiving plant location' respectively.

Dear Sir,

Instead of that you can achieve this in this fashion:

1. Create Internal sales order

2.Attach any serial number for that vehicle if you want to track which vehicle is given to which branch.

3.Do PGI to that branch

4.It involes 641 and 601 mvmt.
