Does anyone have any common automotive faults where a lot of big data are captured in SAP system, and would like to share tips on data mining for root cause analysis?

I haven't experianced the system failure yet.

One system fault I experianced was related to QA module. (Sorry, I don't rememeber what it was exactly)

FYI, BOM maintainance is a key issue for Automotive industries.

Usually, automotice industries have not only high complexity of option combination but also using both MTS and MTO process.

Therefore, it's pretty hard to apply the configurable BOM due to high variances for each product.

The Fault information may vary and it depends on the line of Business, But I can suggest you to structure the faults into different levels using codes and code description so that RCA could be done at different levels depending on the need and requirement.
