Parts Warranty - DBM

Hi All

How vehicle warranty is different from parts warranty in DBM ?

How to maintain data for parts warranty ? In vehicle master, the data we maintain is for

vehicle only..

Dear Ashutosh,

DBM is built and delivered with only Vehicle Warranty. Parts warranty as a whole is not covered in DBM standard system.

You need to create a new warranty category and assign it to model masters and you would have to alter the standard vehicle master screens to capture the unique ID of the Part in the vehicle master.

This is how you can bring Part warranty into scope of DBM.

I think Harsha, this would require lot of development to bring material data in Vehicle master...

- Maintaining data for each parts

- Warranty qualification different for each parts

- Vendor to be maintained for each parts

- and so...
