How do we Maintain Vehicle Specifications in SAP?

Can anyone tell me how do we maintain Vehicle specifications in SAP? Do we use Product data management or is there any other feature in SAP?

for which industry you are asking about pls specfic about the question and how do u want to maintain

u want to maintain only deatils of the vehicle or any other data

I am referring to the Automotive Industry.

By vehicle specifications I mean the data about the vehicle like engine capacity, power, brakes type, extra features (like Air bags: Yes/no; ABS: Yes/No and so on ) and also the specifications of the different variants of the model.

Hi Vivek,

Which kind of application are you looking into..

With in IS-Auto there are 2 areas on the Sales part of the IS-Auto..

VMS and another is DBM. In both these areas, you can directly configure a model and a vehicle.

It depends on how you want to configure and what kind of business you are looking into.

That part of configuring comes with the standard.
