Handling Unit Management in assembling using kits of row materials

Hello gurus on call!

I am working on a scenario where kits of raw materials are consumed in production orders performing assemblies of these kits.
Each kit can only be used to assemble seats for a specific model of car and is identified by a part number.
I figured it could use Handling Unit Management for this, but I'm having trouble consuming these Handling Units for orders.
I am using the COWBHUME transaction to perform this step. Is this correct? Is this possible?

Hello Roberto,

To consume Handling Units for a Process Order Or Production Order, you have to:

1.- Create the HUs (if not done already)

2.- Assign the HUs to the Order using COPAWA

3.- Post the goods issue of the HUs assigned to the Order using COWBHUWA (IN COWBHUWA you can change the contents of the HUs before posting the goods issue)

The document will be composed of step by step instructions about Handling Units' transactions and the DOs and DON'T DOs of Handling Units. Hello Oscar,

as you wrote you are experienced in processes with HUs, please, may I have one question related to HUs supplying REM (how the GI is solved there). I've not found any full description of processes when consuming HUs for REM.
