Engine code field in Vehicle Master

Hi all,

Please let me know if there is any way to make the Engine code field in Vehicle master under Vehicle data input-disabled. Can we do this using Customizing or using any user-exits?

Hi Ganesh,

Is it possible to restrict in authorization level at least. Because some users are changing engine code and for the same vehicle,various reports are generated with different engine codes. Please let me know if there is any option to restrict this.

Hi Manasa,

You can restrict the authorization for the action QMOD. One more option is node level authorization, where you can restrict the visibility of the particular node if the particular users are not required to view the engine code.
