EDI 862 having RAN No./VIN No. and the Schedules need to be considered for MRP too

Hi Experts,

I have got an requirement wherein customer is sending EDI 862 having RAN No./VIN No. (required to be saved in SAP system for tracking) and also, this schedule needs to be considered for MRP.

So, had there been no requirement to save RAN No./VIN No. but only MRP consideration would have been required then I would have simply used Message Type/Basic Type in SAP as DELJIT/DELFOR02 and updated the JIT Delivery Schedule tab in Scheduling Agreement, OR had there been only RAN No./VIN No. required with no MRP consideration then I would have used Message Type/Basic Type in SAP as SEQJIT/SEQJIT03 and created a JIT call which is not considered for MRP.

But, requirement here is about both the perspectives as stated above. Therefore, I would like to explore a solution from standard SAP system standpoint where we can have both RAN No./VIN No. saved and MRP requirement met. Kindly suggest, this is a very important piece for me to resolve.

We were going to try using the SEQJIT idoc to create the summarized JIT call with the customer reference then put JITH in a batch job to replicate the demand into the Scheduling Agreement JIT Delivery Schedule for MRP. We have not worked out how to do the replace (E1EDP10-LABKY = 2) process that the DELJIT idoc provides.
