Difference Between DBM 6 and DBM 7

Hi,

Can anyone please tell me what are the differences between DBM 6 and Dbm 7?

Can a person trained on DBM 7 be able to work on DBM 6 very easily, or is the older version very different from the newer?

Hi Gitika,

In simple I will put it this way.. DBM 7.0 is like Windoes 7.0 and DBM 6 is like Vista / XP.

So, the one trained on either of them can work with the other one easily.

DBM 7.0 is like an extend version of DBM 6.0. There are changes in terms of the order processing, time booking, appointment scheduling, sub contract processing, maintaining BP from different DBm transactions, etc.

Go through the help.sap.com on DBM you would be able to find out many a things.

Could anyone please give any document or list of the differences between DBM 6.0 and DBM 7.0.

I am involved in the upgrade of DBM from 6.0 to 7.0.

If someone could share the list of differences between the two versions of DBM, then it would be of great help in the upgarde process and I would really appreciate it.
