/DBM/VM -- Serious Errors in Tables or in Program

Dear All

I have installed DBM 7.0 upto SP05 on ECC 6.0 EhP5 system running on Windows Server 2008 and Oracle.

When i try to access T Code /DBM/VM i get an error message that says "Serious Error in Tables or in Program". Can anyone please tell me where am i going wrong. Also a few other Tcodes are not working either.

I have the same problem with the same platform been doing several tests and I can not have the solution and can hang new information for verification.

Hi,

have you tried standard VMS on which DBM is based on?

Maybe you have to maintain authorizations via transaction VELORU.

Hi,

please check your customizing settings under the following path:

cross-application components -> sap product -> product category

-> assign hierarchy to applications

The hierarchy ID 'DBM_VHCLE' should be assigned here to the application

'Product' and to the product type 'Material'.
