DBM order creation from within an order

Does anyone have any experience of using /DBM/ORD_RFC_GET (or similiar order creation BAPIs) in DBM 6.0 and specifically the creation a second DBM order from an action within an existing order.

I am running into problems with incorrect recursion levels in my configuration however am not sure whether its possible to do this e.g. to create a returns order for dirty cores from an existing order (via an execution action). Logically I don't think it is going to be possible but is an avenue we are still exploring...

Any help or comment would be much appreciated.

A quick update...

/DBM/ORD_RFC_GET works fine from within the order if you use an RFC destination e.g. NONE however problems/issues can still occur with table locking e.g. the same vehicle

We did source order status updation via action config for order save process event.
