Dear Student,
The process defined in the Best practices of VMS is as follows:
1: Select a model which has correct primary and secondary Matrices assigned, and use action CREA to create a vehicle.
2: Create purchase order
3. Create Goods Receipt
4. Incoming Invoice
5. Create sales order
6. Post PGI
7. ....
and the last is create invoice.
Once an action is performed, check the Actions list, that would help you identify the correct next step.
If you are not able to figure out, keep checking the LOG, which would give you the correct error message. If you are not able to decode the message properly, u can post it in forum here.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
Harsha

Thanks Harsha.
Hope all these functions comes in VELO (Vehilce Manager). My issue is I am not getting the vehicle model in VELO screen. I did create Vehicle Model material master for (TYPE: VEHI) using MM01. First of all, I want to how this material master will come in VELO screen.
Your early response will be highly apprecaited.

Studnet
Dear Student,

Pre processing steps as follows:
- Create VEHI type material (vehicle model) in transaction MM01
- Create Matrices using Cluster (TA: SM34) VC_VLC02.
- Assign different VMS Roles as mentioned in these transactions: VELORU, VELORM, VELORO.
- Assign model to Matrices using transaction VELOS (pl use only model, primary matrix, and secondary matrix).
If all these are maintained correctly, you should be able to see the model in VELO transaction.
When you have the model in VELO, u can use the details I mentioned in my other post for followong process.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
Harsha
