Dear Gurus,
Our client wants to implement cannibalization process in DBM. Client would remove few vehicles from the inventory for which the stock should be reduced. I came across a standard document type 4101 which decreases the stock.
My question is whether 4101 is limited for parts alone or there is a separate process for cannibalization?
kindly suggest a solution to go about with this.

hi Gobi,
Yes this is correct process to use 4100 & 4101 , however, you cannot use return 4101 directly from Vehicle Master, so select order type 4101 in /DBM/ORDER01 and create service order , the car value should be reduced by the inventory value of this parts, then use 4100 to fit on some other car

Dear Sachin,
Thanks for the reply. The requirement is that the client will decide to remove parts from some cars which is sitting idle in the inventory for a long period of time. Also during service order creation and PDI they will decide to reduce a few parts?.
Kindly advise.
