Action QNTF is not defined

HI DBM EXPERTS,

During saving the notification for vehicle from /dbm/vm transaction we are getting a ERROR message

" Action QNTF is not defined "

We have checked a action control matrix also in customising but ACTION QNTF is absent there.

Please suggest.

Hi Kaustubh,

are you using SAP delievery customizing or did you define your own action matrices?

In SAP standard, action QNTF is a secondary matrix action (see transaction OVELO1). That means that the action needs to be part of the secondary matrix you're using for your process.

In SAP standard, the matrix for this purpose is called DBM2 and it contains an entry for QNTF.

Maybe the secondary matrix for your vehicle could not be determined. If so, please check transaction VELOS.

If you're using your own secondary action matrix (defined in OVELO11), you need to make sure that action QNTF is part of that matrix.

Thanks a lot but ....thats what we have already cheked and there is a ABSENCE of action IN CUSTOMIZING CLIENT ALSO.

there is a ORDER ENGINE COMPARISION also we checked a STANDARD SAP 00 client with our client and found out that " ABSENCE OF ACTION QNTF "

we are using SAP DBM 6 SP 05 version .

can you able to help for defining the action how we can define it i mean ...i only have to add aQNTF in OVELO1 only next in OVELO11 ????

Hi Kaustubh,

if action QNTF is missing in SAP's delivery customizing, then you probably should create a message reporting the problem.

If it's only missing in you customizing client, then you need to manually add it. Apart from OVELO1 and OVELO11, also check OVELO6.
