Action CREA : No action control found

Hi

Created a Vehicle model and when I execute the VELO transaction I was able to see the Vehicle Model in VELO transaction

but when I try create a Vehicle using the vehcile model ..it says No action control found.

after going through the sap help ..I need to keep in place the action matrix so that the action is triggerred

so pls let me know how to create a action matrixfor the action CREA.

HI Banu,

The first thing that u need to do is to check if there are primary and secondary actions assigned to your vehicle model.

Check velos transaction to determine if the vehicle model (the material used for the model) is assigned to the primary and secondary matrices. If thats not done, add ur model, and assign the standard matrices to it.

If u do not see any action matrices at all, then u need to build action matrices in the first case, by default SAP would have delivered standard matrices (check transaction OVELO11). U can make a copy of the standard matrices and adopt based on ur client needs.

Also, make sure that u assign the roles for the user in transaction VELORU.

Test it once, CREA should work now, else update us back here with all the messages in the Action Log.

Even after maintaining the action matrix as per BP document and I did all the assignments ..

still I am getting the error : No action control Found.

How to rectify this problem ??

Would you be able to click on the Action log button and send me the list of errors that you are encountering when u perform the CREA action?

That would help me analyse where things are going wrong.

Now I am getting a message Action Create Vehicle (Configurable) executed..but no Internal vechicle no is generated under success indicator its giving a message "Action has not yet been executed at Vehicle model".

any config missing???

Even I tried giving ext no range then also I am facing the same message ...

How to resolve this issue ???

Hi Banu,

Its quite hard to tell u what is wrong with the inputs given by you.

If you could tell me the config activities that you have performed, I can tell u if u r missing something.

I hope you have added the matrices to the model, roles to the user, etc.

Jus check out if any BADi is assigned to the CREA action or not. Sometimes that could be a reason.
