SAP Open Source Webinar – OpenSearch Foundation

From preserving an open-source project through a fork that initiated OpenSearch to establishing a new foundation, announced in September at the Open-Source Summit of Linux Foundation.

Join us on December 5th at 5:00 pm CET/ 8:00 am PST/ 11:00 am EST for a webinar about the OpenSearch Foundation with Anandhi Bumstead (Director, Software Development, OpenSearch at AWS) and Wolfgang Theilmann (Development Manager BTP at SAP). Both are involved in development activities with this major project and take responsibility in the newly founded OpenSearch Foundation. Anandhi and Wolfgang’s team are members of the Governing Board and Technical Steering Committee for the OpenSearch Project.

Learn and discuss, why this project has been transferred into the new OpenSearch Foundation, how license changes impact large open-source projects such as Elasticsearch and how AWS and SAP now collaborate in the new set-up of the OpenSearch Foundation.
