*Open Source Project “Renovate” for automating dependency updates*

While using more and more open source software in their products, SAP and other enterprises need to ensure that they are running the correct versions with the latest bug-fixes and features for their services. With the massive volume of repositories and their dependencies, this becomes a tedious task. Over the past years, many teams at SAP have automated dependency management with the open source tool Renovate. In 2023, we have seen over 220.000 update pull requests being created internally.

Join us on June 25th at 3:00 pm CEST/ 1:00 pm UTC/ 9:00 am EST for a webinar with Tobias Gabriel, Senior Developer in the SAP Open Source Program Office. Tobias will show and demonstrate the use of Renovate for dependency updates, his motivation to contributing to this tool, and talk about SAP’s cultural shift towards automation with dependency management. It would be great to use this webinar to also discuss your experiences with dependency automation.
