Raquel, what inspired you to become an SAP Mentor?

handshake .pngI’ve always enjoyed sharing my knowledge, helping others, providing feedback and being part of a community. As someone with hands-on experience and a strong interest in improving how things work, I saw this as a chance to contribute in a meaningful way, to build stronger networks and help shape the future of SAP products and services.

I was an SAP Mentor for some years, and had a pause when I became a mom, which is the most incredible and challenging experience I ever had. I'm very happy to be part of the group again.

What advice would like to share with other SAP community members?

298874_collaborate_blue (1).pngStay curious and keep learning about SAP’s evolving products and strategies, especially emerging technologies. Things change too fast and it's vital to keep yourself updated.

Engage actively in the community—ask questions, share your experiences, and collaborate with others. Start constructive discussions in which people learn from you and also where you become better, learn from others. Even small contributions can help improve products and make meaningful changes based on your shared experiences. They also help build connections and open doors for new ideas.

Try joining SAP events to learn more and meet fellow community members. If possible, organize your own events—online or in-person—to bring people in your area together.

Remember, SAP solutions are here to help people and businesses. Be understanding, listen to different ideas, be emphatic and make sure everyone feels heard. Being kind and patient helps to build strong connections. And always be completely honest and genuine. Be yourself. This is priceless.
