I have been actively participating in the SAP community dates back (2007) to the days of the SAP Community Network. I got recognition in various ways by way of appreciation certificate, badges etc., and that has encouraged to give more quality contributions to this community.
How do you learn in SAP Community?
What is your daily/weekly routine in SAP Community?
I used to spend more hours (3 to 4 hours) on a daily basis till 2020 but for the last couple of years, I am spending few minutes on a daily basis, because of my tight project schedule. Of course, during weekends, I used to spend more time going through some of the blogs related to my area and also Q&A to help the members.
What is your suggestion to get the most out of SAP Community?
If at all, one needs to scale up in their SAP career, first they have to do some groundwork in understanding the business requirement clearly if they are into an implementation project or analyzing the reported issue clearly if they are into a Support project. Then, they need to start their analysis on their own and only then, if they are not able to find out any solution, they should refer this community. By this practice, it will get registered into our mind.
Lakshmipathi's question to you:
Domain experience plays a pivotal role for all Functional consultants to handle any complex Business requirements, and I am the best example for that. What do you think of this and how many years of functional experience is minimum required to become a successful functional consultant?
