SAP BUILD PROCESS AUTOMATION GETTING ERROR 500 IN RBSC PORTAL FOR AGENT UPDATE

Hello all,

i am getting error in SAP BUILD PROCESS AUTOMATION ( for setting up Desktop Agent 3) while going to SAP BUILD LOBBY > CONTROL TOWER > AGENT UPDATE > RBSC PORTAL

If anyone has any clue of why this error is coming up please do let me know too. Since i can't find any relevant blog post.

Hi Rahul,

I wanted to follow up on the issue you were experiencing with the Desktop Agent Update. Have you been able to resolve it since clicking the Agent Update button?

If you're still encountering problems, please double-check the following steps:

  1. Create a technical user: After clicking the Agent Update button, you should be redirected to the RSBC portal. Click "Add User," enter a name for the technical user, and select "Add User."
  2. Generate a secret ID: Go to the "Users" panel, choose the technical user you created, navigate to the "Strong Cryptography Authentication" section, and select "Generate." Copy the generated secret ID.
  3. Enter credentials: In the Agent Update page, enter the technical user name and the secret ID you copied.
  4. Install Desktop Agent: If you're using an RPA tenant, go to Cloud Factory, select "Configuration," and then "Agent Update." If you're using an SPA tenant, go to "Settings" and then "Agent Update." Choose "Enter Secret ID," enter your technical name, paste the secret ID, and select "Confirm." You can now install Desktop Agent 3 or copy the download link for other users.

If you're still experiencing issues after following these steps, please let me know and we can try to troubleshoot further.
