Hi all,

No this isn't a scam!

I recently found out about the new SAP Press Subscription service, that is now available for online payments. In the latest pod bite of the Coffee Corner Radio I had a chat with Florian Zimniak about the service and what else is in store for SAP Press. He shared another hidden secret in the end of the pod bite.

Have a listen and let us know what you think.

Please share what two books you would read if you had the subscription and how you would use it. The next episode we will draw a random winner from the contributors and the winner will receive a month free subscription.

My fist choice is ABAP in the Cloud, but unfortunately that doesn't exist (yet?).

So for me it's:

Getting Started with SAP HANA Cloud Platform

Something to play with and get more of a hands on HCP experience

For my next choice, I don't know if "Coming soon" titles count, but it would be this one:

SAP Cloud Platform: Cloud-Native Development

Because it's where we're headed.

If that's not eligible, it'd be:

SAP Fiori Implementation and Development

Because the amount of different ways to do stuff with Fiori seems to be rivalled only by UK railway ticketing systems and I'm hoping to make sense of it (Fiori that is, there's no hope with train fares).

#Netflix of SAP=>:)

I would choose below mentioned 2 books

SAP Cloud Platform Native Development

This shall actually help me in building on my basic understanding of Native stuff. Learning is always fun but sharing is double fun so end result has to be using this information in my projects as well share this knowledge via blogs:)

ABAP Development for SAP HANA

This is a must read for me as my client will sooner or later move to SOH/S4HANA and need to enhance my understanding. #SharingIsAlways their.

Thanks for the great PODCast keep them coming.

I would choose for the 2 books (... to start with)

SAP HANA Security Guide - it's about time a I embrace the non-application layers of security

https://www.sap-press.com/sap-hana-security-guide_4227/

SAP Fiori Apps Security - I'm dealing with it more and I'm starting to wonder what's the cleanest solution to balance out authorisation requirements, UX (Catalogues and Groups), and Access Controls Segregation of Duties. Curious to see wht ath Fiori Apps security focuses on and wonder if there is a new E-Book for the writing.

Using the subscription - I'm more likely to use as required rather than read an entire book. I learn by applying knowledge. Unless I have a sanpdit to practise in, I find it challenging to read technical guides if I'm also not hands on.

I agree. Learning by doing is a better way to learn. Which can sometimes be challenging. I don't read a book covert to cover, but treat it more like an encyclopaedia to look up stuff.
