i want to to know
whether the single User can make Different IDS and Post the Questions form different IDS ??
is it against the forum rules or can we do it
Request clarification before answering.
As long as you dont answer your own questions and get caught, I dont think there's any problem

Yes. There are people who did like that and also there are people who still doing it.
You have any plans..??

here she is not doing for points but
ther are two users one is with this ID an another is some other Id (if u want i can Furnish it)
Raises same question differently with different Ids
so i just warned the user as it not appropriate way
it may not be agains the Rules but it may cause some problem while answering the question
awaiting for ur Suggestion
and >who are the mdoerators for HCM forum i know Matt does he takes care of this issues
I would even go so far as to say that it is on the border of the forum rules to answer such questions...
Using 2 ID's to duplicate post such rubbish is definately not what the Expert Forums are intended for. There is also a bit of a clean-up in the pipeline for the HCM forum, so hopefully there will be less of this.
Cheers,
Julius
Having two or more ids isn't a problem per se - it's how they're used. If it's used to gain more exposure to the questions, then that's certainly not permitted.
I'm glad to know that there's a hands-on moderator going to HCM. It was getting to be a mess. I keep an eye on it, but it isn't one of my forums (I do ABAP, mainly ).
Oh, and Sikindar? txtspk like"abt" instead of "about" is also against the rules - because it can make life difficult for people who are not fluent in English, and also, it doesn't look very professional... But kudos for tackling the issue in forum. If there's nothing it, then no problem. If there is, then you've probably stopped it.

Since this is the coffee corner, I really want to know a legitmate reason for having more than one "active" account. IMHO there is no legitmate reason to have more than one "active" account. Yes I'm going to say if you did a job/e-mail/etc type transfer then you could have more than one "account", but you should only have one active period.
Now for the issue of feeling your question is being ignored or you think you need to post it twice or across forums. I would always offer at least for CRM related questions, you can always ask me if in doubt about where to get the best response for your question. However your results may vary by topic area as each moderator gets to decide how much guidance they want to provide beyond standard moderation, based on schedule.
Take care,
Stephen
Hi Stephen,
I guess the only legitimate reason for having two active accounts is if one is attached to your employer (perhaps accessed by single sign-on) and you need another to access outside of your company network.
I recall [Julius Bussche|https://forums.sdn.sap.com/profile.jspa?userID=3689745] had such an account with a Pyton-esque name (Page 19)
Regards,
Nick
Nick,
In that case, can't the person still login to SCN via password, provided they remember their S-number password? In addition I have heard the excuse people don't want their SCN activities associated with their employer. I would still say there is only a need to use one account period.
Take care,
Stephen
Actually, I have a few more accounts for testing purposes.
That one was (ironically) a customer S-user account I used for the SMP, and the customer had a policy against activity on any collaboration websites, including SDN. As the SAP Passport was constantly logging me on with it here as well I accidentally made a few posts, so changed the name into obscurity and thought it funny for a while.
Then Mylene spotted it and I had to wash dishes for a week...
Cheers,
Julius
ps: I did not have any conversations with myself, other than in the testing forums.
