What are "points for an external activity"?

I've just been awarded some and I don't know exactly what they are for! Can anyone shed some light? Ironically, the points seem to be related to the document, which doesn't actually mention points for external activities.

I believe it's points for the SCN Survey that you might have participated in.  The FAQ document is quoted just because something has to be referred to.

Yes you are right, you solved the riddle 😉 I uploaded the points last week and had to reference something, and since there was no announcement blog the FAQ doc was my second best bet.
