Upload Photo feature

Hi ,

How to upload my photo to the SDN.i've given a yahoo photos url link but the photo is not uploaded.

Suggest me how to upload .

Are you referring to the weblog application or to your profile?

Infact i was refering to the

Profile Management -> Update Profile -> Change My Photo option.

Hi Joshua,

yes I think there is no "Upload" function (at the moment) at the Profile Management site. The Upload function works just if you want to register for blogging.

But at 'Profile Management' you can enter an URL which links to a site where your photo resides. I already did this with flickr. The only problem was that SDN is accessed through https and the flickr-URL was http. So you always got this annoying browser message that you are changing to an unsecure connection. Craig: Can this be avoided?

Originally everyone was told to apply to be a blogger and upload your photo there. However that is not really practical and we are working on a solution for the profile, until then we have to live with the "annonying popup" becasue of the HTTP and HTTPS

I got an approval for the weblog posting also.I'm very eager to post a weblog and thought i could upload my photo before weblogging.

So suggest me ' how could i do this ? '

Had you given us the address of your picture I would have added it to your weblogger profile. If you do not have a picture already on the internet you can email me the picture directly.

Now that the photo is on your weblogger homepage you can do a right click and look at the properties (copy the link and use that)

Not a seamless and transparant process but we are working on it.
