Hello,
I'm a P-user. Recently I'm facing this issue -unable to download or view from SAP service marketplace or download from nwds.sap.com.
Im using both chrome & IE 8 .when I open a page it keeps on asking my login password. Can any one suggest if there is certificate to be installed. I can login into my scn id using my ID. Thanks in advance.
Request clarification before answering.
Dear Vidya
you can find installation number while you log in to SAP then if you click
System--->Status
On the right hand side in this window, the installation number is always found. But in context to your situation, you need to enter S user ID as mentioned by Jitendra above or you must have a C user Id, thats Customer Id.
So make sure you have any one of these three. I guess installation number will be only for an organization, while S user ID and C user Id can be for assigned to each individual user.

Now I get it, I found Installation no. I contacted my local basis team so they are working on this.
Thanks to you, Jitendra and others for your quick response.
Question related to the S user. My colleague has S user ID. When he tried to log into the marketplace to download developer studio. There is a popup asking for userID and Password as usual. Even though they are valid, It doesn't go to the desired download page, yet it keeps on sending Password reset mail . Does this mean any certificate to be installed or any alternative for this. I started using IE8. Its seems to raise similar issue. Pls help. Thanks in advance.

Hi Vidya,
Not sure about this as i have not faced this. Can you upgrade the IE and try once.
It should not happen actually.
Certificates are to be installed for security purpose and the IE will notify you if required or certificate expired. Are you getting any certificate issue or notification?
If yes let know, otherwise , just try will IE newer version or perhaps google chrome.

Hi,
This is happening as i guess the authentication is failing. you may need to raise an incident ticket to them. Please write a mail if you have your S-user Id or tell the person to write the mail whose S user ID is being used in this login to :
education.india@sap.com
In SAP India, there is a concerned person who mantains these
and take cares of this. His name is Raji.
Following is his details

Hi Vidya,
You can not login into SAP Service Marketplace using p-user id. There must be one S-user id for logging into portal.
Better you contact your company's BASIS admin.
