Hi,
This is about my earlier community contribution. I had earlier published an article in SDN.
Recently I was trying to access it and found it was moved to archives.
Even while I reached the archive link https://archive.sap.com/documents/docs/DOC-11457,
I see that the actual post accessible through "View Document" link is invalid.
Please check.
FYI .
Original location (Manually Restoring Lost Delta Data from ECC) was
http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/e0fa710e-f52c-2d10-3881-d93d052b4cac
Thanks,
Jitu K
Hi Jitu,
Thank you for reporting this. This is a known issue and we are working on a fix. By way of background, the broken links are related to the recent platform switch. As we were preparing for the transition from SCN to SAP Community, we had an old repository of 20,000 asset. The repository was scheduled for shut down, and some of the documents were very old (and rarely accessed), so we conducted an audit using specific criteria and working with internal content owners to try to migrate the best stuff.
We thought this audit would protect the most useful materials, clear out the outdated content that was no longer wanted or supported. However, some sought-after content was overlooked, and many useful assets, such as the one you referenced, have became unavailable.
We are aware of the significance of the issue and we are working to deliver a fix. Jerry Janda (jerry.janda) will be communicating updates as they become available.

Even sap realises any new version the documents are very very help to learn basics and advanced thinks.
