UI Feedback on blogs

Just some first impressions on the blog UI:

- when I click on "Follow", am I following the user, the blog, the topic or the tags...? UI ambiguous.

- I would not look for the "Like" button next to the "Share" buttons, maybe that should be at the end of the article, too? Like and Share don't seem related to me

- I would expect to get to Tammy's profile by clicking on the Avatar. That does not work, I need to click on thew name (which is also not recognizable as a link). Not intuitive.

The bottom part of the UI also looks incoherent to me:

- "Alert Moderator" would probably be better placed on top next to the date/views, it's also not recognizable as a link

- maybe it's just me, but an empty text box would be more inviting towards a comment

- "share and follow" again mixes two distinct actions with no clear relation to what exactly they do - what is it that I share, some just are links to a page (slideshare)

- are we sure using bit.ly on all of those is a good idea? We really should use SAP's own URL shortener, for data privacy, security and resilience purposes (what if bit.ly shuts down?)

Hi Frank, Thanks for the tip, but we tried SAP's internal shortener, but my tests and posted documentation indicates it works inside SAP's network only. Has that changed?

I'm working with IT to review the best approach for the current platform, where we have a character count limit on our mission descriptions. (I am happy to note that the character count limit will  not be an issue on the new gamification platform.)
