Can any one please translate the following paragraph into layman’s English for me please.

“Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant and vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a bygone vexation stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition! The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V”

From the quotes section in IMDB

I wrote a simplification:

Actually, it's quite hard to simplify, because each word has it's own nuances, so, in a sense, it's as simple as it gets.

Now, go on, tell me. Why did you need to know this?

hahahaha this is absolutely smashing. sas, let me simplify this for you -

You posted a line from a movie which you did not understand. Apparently it was so complicated for you to understand that you didn't even recognise that it was actually plain english.

People helped you with hints and even mentioned that it WAS in fact english.

You still didn't get it, and the helpful new feature of allowing one to increase the font size was used to try and get it across as plainly as possible that it WAS ENGLISH.

Then a simplified meaning of the movie quote was posted for you to understand what the original meant. And now your question "I mean what u r intension to clear it off?what are u mean to say those ?" is making me laugh so hard that I have stiches in my sides now because it was you wanted it "cleared off" in the first place and now you feel somehow hurt that it has been explained to you...

( And I fully understand, and sympathise, that not everyone has fluency in English - I only know English, French and German, but I'm at a loss with, e.g. Urdu )

actually after my last reply we are in vacation for 2 days...and after that on monday we are having the festival..

Ok...Now I'm getting kinda scared...German? I don't know any single word on German...So I haven't wrote a single blog in German...All are in English (Or Spanish in my personal blog)...

And I really don't understand how you took it to be a language other than english!! As pointed out earlier Visage and Voila are basically French but visage is often described as an English word with French roots. Although in my book its plain french and the english language stole this word like many others damn it. Oh! Pardon my French...

While Violá and Visage are French, the former is often used in English speech, and the latter is a perfectly bonafide English word as well - in the same way that image exists in both languages.

Is it not a line from the comic book 'V for Vendetta' by Alan Moore and John Lloyd? Made into a film in 2005?

I think it's the point where the title character (only ever called V) is introducing himself.

Probably doesn't make much sense out of context.

And I'm at a total loss how a rendering into rather less poetic language can be an urgent requirement.

I suggest that you look up the words you don't know in a [dictionary|http://www.dictionary.com], and work out for yourself what's being said.

I'll give you a clue - it's a man talking about himself.
