Topic leader badge and email from SAP

Hi Everyone,

I was wondering  when we are going to receive Topic leader badge and the recognition Email from SAP, which was mentioned by Laure Cetin in her blog, anybody has any idea on this.

What do you do with this Acknowledgement of Achievement that it is so important that it has to be dropped into your mail as timely as your salary to your bank account ?

Thanks for your patience as we are putting together the certificates of appreciation and send them via email. It takes time to design a pdf for each one of you, with your picture etc. The email and the badge will come soon.

There will always be a debate about monetary vs. non-monetary rewards, and studies show that non-monetary rewards work best. If you are interested you can read studies about human behavior and rewards 😉

Well said. Non Monitory benefit encourages member to post more and build reputation. But In my own opinion there must be a little gift like T shirts or cap or any other cheap gift where we can see that SCN is printed and we can take it as a memorable asset. I don't think so this cheap gift comes under monitory gift in the books of SCN and SAP

A mail and badge from SCN is also a good effort from SCN to encourage and motivate the members.

By the way I just wanted to ask which picture you will put on that badge? I have one display picture and four other pictures in my profile. Please put that picture which suits there

Just 10 days back they Announced the Topic leader's list.so  Its may take time to arrange the same. Once they initiate to start the processing of mails and badges then Laure will update us. Let's wait and see.

Me too waiting for it . It will be awesome if they give free passes for TLs to Tech-ed. It will be a pride for us. They stopped giving SAP Logo T-Shirts and Appreciation Mails after completion of each level

Yes even i think that they should provide some gift to all the TL's.I know its not a big deal for them even though the number may be huge.

It will be a sort of feel good factor for all of us.Still waiting for mail and SCN badge.

                I am just wondering on, why SAP is stopping everything? There is no doubt about SCN improvements and Gamification Concepts . It makes a lot of difference from SDN to SCN. But the most important "Token of Appreciation" is missing, which is an essence of SCN.

               We spend day & night on SCN helping others. Finally these tokens have been stopped.

I cannot see the things from their perspective but what i feel personally that today we have lot many active users and more spaces than before and of course more topic leaders so they must be refraining to distribute such things.

So are you planning to attend SAP TechEd ? Raman how about you ?

The major difference between SDN and SCN is, easy making points with Likes, Ratings, Bonus Points, bookmarking concept etc..

I am in Gulf. I am not going to Tech-ed. If I am in India, i would have tried to visit Bangalore at least.

Ya. I have forgotten it. That is like a jackpot. WIKI = 40. As SCn has come up with all these attractive features, they stopped all "Tokens of Appreciations"
