Steps involved in Upgrade from 4.0 to 4.7

Hello Friends..

I am basically a FICO guy...i want to know ..as a fico consultant ..wat wud be my role in upgrading a system from 4.0 to 4.7

as am new to upgradation...i juz need to some basic knowledge on the same...

any suggestions are appreciated

Have a look at service.sap.com/upgrade, there things like roadmaps (https://service.sap.com/~sapidb/011000358700003618582003), installation guides (https://service.sap.com/instguides), etc.
