Hi everyone,
Though I'm a beginner in SCN but I am following it for more than couple of years. I find this place most suitable for posting this doubt of mine.
I have seen Moderators & Space editors in almost every forum. I want to know what is the difference between them? What kind of controls do they posses and what is their job?
Besides, what are the prerequisites to be become a moderator or a space editor?
I don't want to bother anyone with this, therefore short explanation would do good.
Sunny

Yes you are right. There are space editors and moderators for each forum. You can check How to become a moderator - Contributor Corner - SCN Wiki
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
I think moderator's job is to keep clean the Space and to check nothings happens against the rules and engagement..
Like as Reject content, Reject Replies etc...
And the space editor's job is to improve the space, like as any new enhancement, any changes in screen or anythings changes related to this forum..
(Its my Idea, I am not sure about that)
Hi Sunny,
In general, moderators'task includes moderating forum related discussions, blogs, wiki page, docs along with handling abuse report "Alert moderator".
Whatever you see on homepage of any forum is managed by Space editors. Eg. belong to that forum. (obviously).
