Solution Manager EWA hardware issue

I have SolMan 3.1 connected to a satellite and all looks good. When I gather the information for an EWA, I always have to add the hardware information for the database server. The system correctly receives the data from the CI but never gets the info from the database server. OS is Solaris 5.9, Oracle. CI and DB are on different hosts. When manually entering the information for the dbhost the pulldown does not have many entries for sun and the 2 available do not reflect what I have. How can I resolve this so that the db hardware is recognized as part of the collected information in SDCC? Where can I find more documentation on this functionality?

I've always went through our SMSY transaction in SolMan and made sure to have all my data entered correctly there then do the RFC connection to the server - the logs there are usually quite good and well tell you why something is missing.
