I agree - along with better ways to provide smart filters and drill downs within the initial search results will help people find the content they are interested in, but the issue of pagination could also be better handled.
Does Older vs. Newer have any relevance when the result sorting is not time based? Right now there is no sorting, so it must be system default ordering...
I did a test 'Hana' search on Google, and perhaps only now just noticed that the pagination uses Goooooooogle on top of the <Previous 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 Next> concept, so +1 to your proposal.
