Hi Kai,

We only have one type of external certificate that currently works with the site. This is an SAP Passport. To obtain one you have to be a registered member of the SAP Service Marketplace (http://service.sap.com). If you are, there is a link on their home page "Benefit from Single Sign On" that begins a process which installs the certificate in your browser.

Now some words of caution. It does not seem to work very well with Firefox or Internet Explorer 7. You can find a discussion about this here -

Is there an official problem documentation for the IE7 passport issue?

From SAP or from Microsoft?

Kind regards, Rudi

I'm not sure if there are any official statements I can point you to. I'm sure that there has to be at least one OSS note out there about it. There is also most likely a Platform Availability Matrix somewhere that says Vista/IE7 combinations is not currently supported. That might be found on the SAP Public website (http://www.sap.com) or the SAP Service Marketplace (http://service.sap.com).

Best Regards,

David
