Hello Team,
I had 3000 + points and suddenly points got reduced to 1821
I was in the second top position in the Middle ware community.
And in the reputation tab not seeing any negative points or points deducted.
What could be the reason??
Request clarification before answering.
Hi RS,
I wonder why everyone so concerned about points.
It should be just fun of sharing knowledge.
However I feel SDN must have set date range, because of which it reduced.
may be they populate from last year till date on your profile.
Hope that helps.
Aditya

Hello Aditya,
Not taking it serious,Still am contributing in the same way. .anyways its not going to give me any money as wel.. .Just gives a satisfaction when you see urself in top list.
Just wish to know what is the reason?where I am wrong or what could it be.
Its lifetime points not leaderboards ones.So it wont get reduced and 1300 points has been removed.
You will get an explanation. Please be patient.

Hi Raghuraman
I have no idea if this is deliberate...
If you look at your reputation tab > expertise >
you will see 23/2 1300 points removed.
Have you received any global moderation notification or email to see if there is a reason behind such action?
CC as one of the Moderators for the space

Hi Raghuraman,
I'm not a moderator of that space to be across any behind the scenes
I suggest have some patience until Moshe or another Global Moderator can investigate for you. I'm assuming innocence as there could be numerous reasons from deliberate action through to processing error to explain it.
The Actions tab shows the change. Although, you have lost points, this is a good sign as it should mean the SCN Global team can investigate and reach out to you with either reason and/or resolution.

Colleen
