Hello,
I have several (more than 100.000) RPT-Files which were generated in Crystal Reports Version 8.5.
Now I have Crystal Reports 2013 and I want to update those files to the new version or to open the rpt-file and save it as a pdf-file.
Is this possible by executing CRViewer.exe through command line or is there a VB.NET-Script which opens the file and saves it as a PDF-File?
Thanks for your answers!
Hi,
some Update on this case.
My software developer wrote me a small program which reads all rpt-files from one directory and exports this files to a pdf. This works for several files in the directory but then the application crashes
After a few tries the application seems to crash always after 75 files. When I restart the application it exports 75 files and then crashes again. It doesn`t seem to depend on the rpt-file because I deleted already exported files and started the application again with the next file. Then this file is exported correctly.....and the other 74 files also. But the crash occurs after the 75th file.
In the eventlog I get the following error:

I read about this error and checked if there are missing privileges but I have all privileges on the used directorys. Do you have an idea what the problem is? We are using the newest SP16 of the crystal reports runtime for visual studio.
