Saprouter on Windows 2008!

Hello,

I am unable to start saprouter on Windows 2008 x64 server. Error given by OS is as follows "The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log for more details."

I have downloaded saprouter for Windows x64 server (there was not special version for 2003 and 2008 version).

Any suggestions?

switched to saprouter 7.00 and it worked just fine.

HI Filip,

You need not downgrade to SAProuter 700 as SAP Note 1375494 does the trick with SAProuter 710, even indicated by Markus.

So - if an error message points you to the windows event log, don't you think it would be a good idea to look at it and see if you get any information about what's going wrong?

Anyway, I guess that this is a known problem caused by a missing operating system patch according to

I've got the same message when trying to startup SAPOSCOL on Windows 2008 x64. Have you find a solution for this issue?
