saposcol is restarting itself every hour

Hi,

We are encountering a strange behavior in all our quality application server
LPAR. In these systems, the saposcol service
is restaring itself automatically every hour. We could not find
anything in the logs of collector in ST06. The logs which we see are limited to
one hour only where it stays active and in the next hour it restarts
itself automatically and the previous logs are erased.

.

All quality systems central instances are in one LPAR and all the application servers are in another  LPAR.

OS COLLECTOR is running fine in Central Instances of quality systems. But the problem is only for app servers.

Can you let us know the reasons for this strange behavior of saposcol

in our quality systems

Component version:   SAP ECC 6.0

Operating system:     OS400 3 5, OS400 4 (IBM iSeries i5 OS)

Database system:     DB400

OS Collector Version:      COLL 21.03 720 - AS/400 SAPOSCOL Version 03 Dec

Hello Barla,

Please check if your table TCOLL is configured to collect data in horly mode, if this configuration is correct, try to update the program SAPOSCOL.
