Sap Router Password problem

hi to all gurus

I have sap router installed in my system which has OS-winxp. It is running quite well but now i have a problem now i want to give a password in sap router i mean to say that if any one from outside my network will try to access my sap router the router should prompt for username and passwors.

i want to do this configuration but i tried a lot and couldnot succed can any one guide me step by step how to put password in sap router so any one from outside tries to enter to my router shuld be asked for password please help me out.

Hi ,

Normally if someone tries to login to your router machine , it will defenitely ask the username and

password . This is an OS level security .

The router level security is related with the file saprouttab .

Give permission to needed IPs and give the entry

1. deny all other connections

in routtab in order to restrict all other access .

We have forgotten the SAP router Password. Kindly request, how to change / reset the SAP router password.
