SAP PP-Availability check

While doing availability check in production order, system showing "all material available" but stock is not available in MD04 for components and all receipt (delivery) dates are after the end date of production order date.

Can anybody elaborate on what could be the reason...

Hi,

First check which  availability check assign into bom component ( raw material) and their setting into OVZ9 t code, if purchase requisition generated for RM , then it is consider as stock or not need to check in AC setting.

Hi,

Find the OVZP settings below and no PR created for RM as well and still it is showing as "material available" even though the my requirement date is beyond the delivery date of all receipts.

Hi,

  Did this checking rule assign into raw material master. there should  be 01 / 02 checking rule assign into material master in MRP view. because 01/02 checking rule setting in OVZ9 work for  external procurement ( raw material) in MRP. PP checking rule work for planned order level.

The above problem got solved as there is some master data issue (storage location is wrongly maintained which came from different system).
