When I am stuck on a problem and I need a solution, I will search in SDN but I also search in the SAP notes. I could find a note to solve my problem or I could find guidelines and code on how to solve my problem.
Searching in the OSS used to bring up hundreds or even thousands of notes. Now, in the new launchpad, I almost always get nothing. Sometimes I get a few results in the Community wiki.
Does this have to do with the fact that I use my personal user? (not connected to any specific version of SAP)
Anybody else having problems?
P.S. the tag may not be the best, but I could not find a more suitable one.
Request clarification before answering.
Hello Ivy,
Thank you for the information. I solved this some time back by modifying a setting in my user profile but I cannot seem to find it anymore.
I think it was in the roles section. If I can identify what I modified, I will post it here for further reference.

Not sure why this old question surfaced all of a sudden. But currently, Launchpad does not work with PID. This is the message I'm getting if I try to open it while logged into my PID account:
"You are currently signed-in with a P-User ID. The SAP ONE Support Launchpad only works with S-User IDs"
Even if I start with the support.sap.com, it just sends you to Launchpad and then it gets stuck in the authentication loop, it seems. (I gave up after the 3rd request for user/password.)

Hi,
Please check the following KBAs:
2421423 - How to search relevant information via Knowledge Base - SAP ONE Support Launchpad
2417294 - My SAP Notes & KBAs Expert Search does not return the correct result - SAP ONE Support Launchpad
If this doesn't work, I suggest you raise incident under XX-SER-SAPSMP-LAUNCH
BR,
Ivy
