OK, it's not about the browser at all!
It's about allowing XHR-usage from feedback-supportportal.hana.ondemand.com
(In Opera, I'm using uMatrix to block anything strange by default - on Chrome I don't have such a thing, that's why it worked there right away. )
Once I configured uMatrix like this, it worked:

I leave that question open, as I think there is still an issue:
The message given doesn't at all help to solve the problem!
"Please try again later" ? Without changing my setup, this will never work!
A better message woul be something like "Couldn't load xx from yy - maybe check your addblocker" or something.
